dough buddies are my mom and raren's newest idea...gluten free donuts! they are having fun in exploring this new business venture, but needed a little something from me. what you may ask did they need from me...i don't cook! lol! they wanted a sign. so originally i did something a little to big, no pictures of that...it wasn't that good, but showed it too my mom and then our heads came together for this.....
I took 1 inch strips of patterned paper and then scored them to make accordians. glued the ends together, and then hot glued the middle so that when i went to turn it flat they would really stick. hot glue was the best thing i have tried for these. the letters are stickers that i found and i hot glued them too just to make sure they would last and survive the trip through the mail. i glued the whole circle onto a punched out circle on the back...just for stability purposes. you can kinda see in the close up pictures another circle punched out underneath the letters, that was put there to hide the hot glue mess!
i love that my mom interlocked them! it makes it flow better, i think. great job mom! good luck to you and raren! im here for any creative things needed for dough buddies!
