so when i became a stampin' up! demonstrator, i was nervous about starting my own classes. i knew that i could do it, but just the shear fact of putting it all together and making sure enough people would want to attend scared me. but....i finally got the push to set up a class and my first one was last thursday!
the jazzercise lady, julie, in town that i have known for a few years now, just got her own studio about a year ago, i think. i was lifting weights for a class i take through her, and started to look around and thought to myself, "i wonder if julie rents her space out?" i was having the hardest time trying to find a space to hold my class in cheney. every place i contacted, churches, parks and rec, EWU, etc, wanted to charge me more than i was able to pay to rent a space for 2 hours. well, i asked julie after pumping iron, and she said she does! i was so excited and we worked something out and i was able to hold my first class last thursday!
i had developed the cards a while ago...like mid july...cards were done, supplies were ordered, prematurely, and i was ready to go. here are the cards the ladies who came to class made....
