a coworker's mother in law passed away a week or so ago and we always try and do something from the office. so my 2 social committee partners in crime asked me if i would create something for her. i said "of course!" and here is what i came up with.....
My first thought was to make my own patterened paper! so here is where i started....strips of blank white scrapbook paper
Then I stamped my pattern on the paper. I was trying to use reds, oranges and yellows. my inspiration was the sun.
So then i accented with other patterned paper i had. i actually made these flowers a little smaller than the patterened paper ones...why you may ask...i have no idea.
So below is the final creation. deb, one of my social committee partners in crime, named this the "Forever Flower Bouquet" because it will last forever and there is no need to water them!! that is my kind of flower! and our hopes of bringing a smile to our coworkers face in such a difficult time.you will notice that it is the same flower that i used in alissa and dave's lei's. this time i just added a stem and some greens to give it a realistic feel! add a vase and some clear pebbles....you get the "forever flower bouquet!"
